Ganja Queen Documentary

Ganja Queen DocumentaryWho watched the HBO documentary "Ganja Queen"? Do you think she did?

I watched the documentary Ganja Queen "on HBO last night.
What a story. The documentary did a brilliant job.

So for the people he has watched, what are your thoughts?
Do you think she did?
Watching the HBO documentary, you are now obliged to learn more about the story?

My family spent the week before Christmas, 04 in Australia, and Schapelle Corby was all anyone could talk about everywhere we went. Everyone kept us remember to lock our bags when we traveled. I thought then that what the Indonesian government has done he has been brutally unfair, and continued to think in recent years as I followed his story and now, after watching the documentary on HBO ... I agree is brilliant.

I really feel for her and her family, but I do not think they have handled things with great wisdom, and I'm not entirely sure of their innocence. I do not believe Schapelle packaged drugs or knew of them in his bag, but I suspect that his brother James was involved. It was far too cavalier in interviews documentary, and he actually looked a little stoned to me. One thing the documentary does not cover his arrest in 2006 for possession of cannabis he had allegedly stolen from a brutal home invasion and stored in a container of coffee at his mother's house. Considering that Schapelle was with all the time from Brisbane to Bali and took the boogie board bag when the client agent has come .... I think there is a chance, he has participated. I can understand why she would not have thought at the time and why she has defended. I mean, it's his big sister. She might have thought that just because he was underage, he would not have problems, but this is absolutely not true. He was 17 then, and they would not just let him get away if he had admitted the bag was hers. I was 13 years old this year and I totally had my bag searched when they flew into Bali, and if I had cannabis stuffed in my surfboard, I'm sure they gave me imprisoned in a heartbeat. The bitter irony of this is that his brother was jailed in Australia for four years, and his crime included beating someone to death with machetes and iron as well as theft of cannabis, then it is Indonesian jailed in a prison until 2024 - until she's 47 years old - for a bag of cannabis in his bag.

Beginning at the end the case was a waste of both the way the Indonesian government handled things and how his legal team did. My step father is a lawyer and said that the case was what is called prima facie case is essentially that if you look at the first appearance guilty, you are presumed to be the opposite of "guilty until proven innocent. "They summarize his guilt when she acknowledged that the bag contained marijuana, though .... most people do in fact know what that looks like cannabis, and if you come a college dorm or a hostel you know what that feels too. His lawyer was a total amateur, and manipulating things unprofessional, as the courts in public interviews. No way, no how my father stage will be filmed swearing or conduct an interview without wearing a shirt. This year, he said he had written the history of baggage handling, which was such a stupid move.

Unfortunately, there is not much hope for her. She has already lost two appeals, the Supreme Court of Indonesia said his 20 years in prison to be final, and destroyed the surfboard, cannabis and all other evidence. Her only option now is to appeal to the clemency of the President, but it would have to admit guilt in order to do so, and there is little chance he had his pardon. A book on her was published last year, but the products have been frozen because of a ban on Australian law.
