Is this a good Sub set up? (Links provided)? If you pull up all four of these links are the things that I've decided to put in my Jeep Cherokee, is this a good set-up for a total price of about $ 400? Any suggestions on settings or packages are appreciated VERRRY
-Thanks:)

NO, NO, NO
-Submarines really a lack of sound quality
-The amplifier is far from consistent with ECA you be lucky to get half the advertised RMS power in a good day
The ceiling is a waste of money, better with a high efficiency alternator and you're far from needing one of these
-The box is suspect because they do not tell the thickness of the wood used and which is very important
$ 100 more and you will not be disappointed
when it comes to car audio nine times out of ten, you get what you pay and you need to search for CEA-compliant brands which means that the amps have been tested and produce or exceed the advertised RMS power with a minimum distortion and the subs can handle their advertised RMS power also (distortion is the main cause of speaker damage over time)
Here are CEA-compliant brands
Alpine (highly recommended)
Bazooka (do not like their subs)
Blaupunkt (do not like their subs)
Bugle
Eclipse
Infinity (highly recommended)
JBL
JL Audio (very good, but on a price)
JVC
Kenwood (do not like their subs)
Kicker (the best in my opinion)
MTX (highly recommended)
Pioneer
Polk Audio (highly recommended)
PPI
Rockford Fosgate (highly recommended)
Sony (do not like their subs)
you want at least 400watts RMS if you're serious ... http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_3867 ($ 300 for two 12inch Kicker CVR) and an amp http://www.sonicelectronix.com/ item_1324 ... ($ 210)
If you do not have enough right now to take your time and buy a piece at a time, that way you do not waste your time and money on sub-par equipment that you want (or need) to replace some time after installation
The box would work and allowed the PAC, you do not need a 5 farad u only need 1 farad farad = 1 1000rms but I do not think u need one anyway and if the submarine U boght of this type for 150, he would be laughing his as off here r some cheaper (NEW) http://www.onlinecarstereo.com/CarAudio/ProductDetail.aspx?ProductID=17731 and the excellent work that AMP would be more ? s repeater09@gmail.com
