Is smoking marijuana before surgery is affected? I'm serious back surgery after a week, and the last time I smoked was a week ago. I know that weed stays in your system for one month, if it will affect the anesthesia? Please help!
As long as you tell the anesthesiologist truth about your drug use, it will not be that much difference. Do not worry, everything you tell people to hospital, it is confidential information, and is protected information. If you smoke tobacco, you cough when you wake up. If you do not smoke grass, you'll cough less.
The best thing to do, say everything. This way, your anesthesia provider / s will know exactly what to expect. This kind of honesty is essential for the best possible care.
As for the transportation of marijuana metabolites in the blood around, not important at all. That's what grass does to your lungs which is most important.
I hope your surgery and recovery goes well.
definitely
No, it does not stay back ur system n if ur not a constant user, but do not over after surgery
No, it does not affect the anesthesia at all. First, it does not interact with any of the agents they use. Secondly and more importantly, it has been a week so that the effects of it are long gone. Do not smoke any more, especially just before surgery. You may be more drowsey they desire.
Think of a trauma unit. People in car accidents, people with gunshot wounds and stabbings, all kinds of people to enter and undergo immediate surgery. The doctors do not have a urine test to see if they have smoked recently, this is not so important. Trust me on this point.
I hope this has helped, and good luck with your surgery ...
I do not think it will affect your surgery. But just say No, the next time you want to run
Obviously people will continue to say its a drug, they know nothing, so why try? If I am the man I would do after he can calm the pain down, the lights!
******** firecrackers affects everything but I still love
smoking marijuana while before things got worse. Your health, future, everything. I suggest you take the first step in creating a better life for you (and if you have them, children.) And to stop smoking. There will be serious trouble in the end, I promise.
You should not do that anyway its against the law and its stupid and bad for health and its bad
