Marijuana Doctors

I write this in response to a previous article by a professor of psychiatry at the school for East Coast Medical, but my remarks are directed at about 75 percent of doctors in the U.S. The article has more erroneous information that I thought possible from a psychiatry professor.

The main problem seems to be the impact of "Reefer Madness" and obviously many doctors still believe and attest to the validity of the government propaganda of the United States.

I will go through several inaccuracies in his article.

First, he says "marijuana is not harmless." Medically, it is one of the most benign drug, but effective, never found.

Then he describes the potential risks. There are none, or very little.

He said that the troops of Napoleon brought it to Europe. In fact, the Persians brought to Scythia, part of European Russia perhaps a thousand years before.

While THC is the main chemical substance possibly 95 percent, CBD and CBN seems to be the next most present. It seems few people know about the activities of the rest, as they are in such small quantities.

Dronabinol / Marinol is not a substitute for marijuana used with a vaporizer, not as a cigarette. For nausea and vomiting, Marinol is useless. People are sick. It takes too long to act, one to two hours, and patients frequently receive the terrible anxiety and panic attacks that are typical signs of overdose.

If the physician or other medical patients would see a bit of marijuana, most of which used 10-50 years, it would see very sick patients, who are medically needy almost get good relief from marijuana.
