Marijuana Plant Abuse

Posted on March 13, 2010.
Marijuana Plant AbuseWho in his right mind would be a law which states that a plant, it is illegal?

For over 500 years, the civilized people of Europe have said that coca and marijuana plants is illegal.
When will they understand that the only thing illegal about them is the abuse they have to mix with their chemicals civilized?

Of course, it should be legal. It was not a single recorded death directly resulting from marijuana. Im surprised that its illegal, I really am.

Katie @ C: A drunk driver can kill someone. I bet you do not agree with the middle class drink one or two glasses of wine, but these people are much more common on our roads and are more likely to kill someone. With the introduction of drug testing and driving restrictions in place, legalization of marijuana would not make our roads more dangerous than they are today. It also means fewer people going to jail, a rate of reduction of crime and more money for the government, and more jobs if it was made legal ... and thats a good thing. I prefer people to stay home and have a smoke, rather than get drunk and cause all sorts of problems, like drunk people tend to do ....

So you want marijuana to be legal?
I bet you will not feel the same way when your mother dies in a car accident because someone was hit and was conducted in height.

they must distance ourselves from nature, all that. From Weeds herbal supplements and tea ... it is called a "soft kill". (Custom not even mention the quality of water, industrial farms GMO, "Big Pharma", etc..)

There has never in history been a drug "free" society. its unrealistic and it is inhuman to expect such things ... especially since the CIA is the # 1 importer of drugs into the States. (Must love all those pic of U.S. troops in Afghanistan opium fields custody ... lol.)

("Entropy" does not sound like a Libertarian to me.)

Quit whining, it's the law and no one wants a group headed by the pot or crack addicts running ... although paradoxically it is already the case ..

Simple. They can not regulate, tax, or control, so they outlawed.

Do not assume the existence of a logical law. Follow the money, buddy.

I would.

I am a libertarian and I agree that people should be allowed to make mistakes in their lives. But the position of the other side is not unreasonable. Look at how China is struggling under the abuse of opium. As science has led these drugs, used to provide only a mild buzz when chewed, inhaled or injected to become a buzz faster and more powerful (and more powerful addiction). Major social problems out of some of these issues.

I do agree with the approach of prohibition, but I understand.

It's illegal because it has medicinal properties that would remove millions of dollars from the drug manufacturing industry. These same companies are paying money from politicians for their campaigns. You scratch my back I'll scratch yours.

Few people grow at the top, considering that they lack the energy or desire to do so.

I'm amused to see that some plants are protected by copyright

They are in their minds right because they are not stoned as some people are. Hmmmmm??
