Marijuana Sobriety Test

Last night I was arrested by a policeman, who made me do a sobriety test, then take the test at another cop got there. Then the cops have accused me of being on marijuana, and said that the breathalyzer was telling them that I was. They told me I was lying and they never had reason to believe that I was.

The thing is, I've never been on marijuana in my life. Were they bluffing to make me confess something? I thought the test was only breathalyzser alcohol.

It is only a test for alcohol. They may have been trying to give you something. By chance, you were very tired? Or on any other medication, Including over the counter?

No, the test can only test for alcohol. I do not know why they did you think of marijuana, they must have been lying.

I do not think it can detect marijuana. But they probably thought that you behave as if you were high on this. Or they may have felt something. If you've had, I would not worry about it.

They were bluffing. The test only checks for alcohol molecule. However, no law prohbits cops to lie in their efforts to investigate. Verification of marijuana requires a test of your blood chromatorgraph.

You are right in that the test is only used to detect alcohol. You either need to pee in a cup or a drop of blood to be taken to a laboratory test for marijuana.

I continue a couple of cops for libel and deformation of character! Sometimes I work next to the department of correctional services that give urban agriculture (pee tests) all the time our customers parolees aka. only way to test the DOJ is a test pot NOT a breathalyzer! JERKS! GET 'EM!

A breath test is only good for alcohol. It does not show any other substance you take. They were just fishing for answers or a confession.
