Use of cannabis is beneficial for multiple sclerosis?

Some medical researchers have come together to seek tests that can evaluate some extracts of cannabis such as cannabidiol or CBD and the delta 9-THC or tetrahydrocanabinnol. Their findings suggest a therapeutic advantage and benefits can be derived from the combination of the two extracts above, especially towards the relief of spasticity involved in multiple sclerosis.

What is Spasticity?

Spasticity is a broad term given to involuntary muscle contractions, which are very common in multiple sclerosis. Several treatment modalities directed at this symptom of MS went relatively ineffective and intolerable.

In this study by experts form the Global Initiative Foundation Neuroscience, namely Mary Rowland and Shaheen Lakhan, some side effects of cannabis have the option of limiting spasticity. Poisoning by cannabis, otherwise termed as marijuana, which is actually necessary to reduce spasticity. But of course, the effects vary depending on the quantity of cannabis was taken to intoxicate. Trial

Results

Most of what has emerged that the results were initially anecdotal at best and a bit difficult to interpret. But after some time of further analysis, the meaning of the results has been finally determined.

Cannabinoids have been taken orally have been most useful. However, this result has not been observed in all patients than in those who smoked cannabis. In fact, other tests in previous years have shown their results on the effect of cannabinoids on spasticity control.
