Does anyone know how the bands of service (hash marks) are supposed to serve the white dress navy? From the rulebook: "sewn on the left sleeve of the blue dress, white dress, dinner dress Blue Jacket, Dinner Dress White Jacket with the lower ends of the front. The lower end of the first band is 2 inches from the end of the round. The riders with a buttoned cuff the lower end of the first band is 1-1/2 inches above the top edge of the cuff. The trailing edge of the strip is in line with the trailing edge of the rating badge. The stripes are at an angle of 45 degrees. When more than one band is allowed, they are placed 1 / 4 inches apart. "
Navy boot hatch 1 / 2 inch above the cuff. I guess the Navy is the same. If you are willing to sew for someone with a laundry verify that changes and places insignia on military uniforms. They know the rules. I have always taken my uniform off at a laundry and to do so.
depends on how many years they have in. They start with the bottom and work their way up. uniform regs state where to place the first hash mark.
