Yes, I am 16, and smoke cigarettes. Yes, I want to stop smoking completely. Im tired of being out of breath and looking for the next smoke. Basically, everyone smokes in my town, most under 18. I smoked directly face to face with the cops a lot, none of them asking. My parents are understanding of me smoking. Thus, it is illegal to smoke fewer cigarettes or 18 years have, in New York.

It is not illegal for minors to smoke or possess cigarettes in New York, just to sell tobacco to a minor.
