There are two states of mind which must be satisfied before a smoker to quit voluntarily. These essential elements are called "Desire" and "decision".

DESIRE: a need, want or desire to

DECISION: Manufacture of mind / a verdict or ruling

To quit smoking, you have to want to quit smoking. You probably want to quit, at least a part of you does, or you would not be reading this article.

In addition, to stop smoking, you should decide to abandon the addiction to cigarettes. Because you do not quit, it just means that you have not decided to quit yet.

So what you need is to feel a strong motivation to make a decision "to quit.

MOTIVATION, we all want. The source of each of our motivations is a belief. Think about it, if you have no certainty that we would be hurt if you jumped off a tall building, so you do not feel motivated to be on the lookout. If you do not believe that the gnawing sensation that the stomach meant you were hungry, you do not feel motivated to eat.

When it comes to giving up the addiction to cigarettes, people who smoke need to feel a great motivation for deciding to quit. Motivation is based on ideas that we believe. Thus, you need to know exactly what are the ideas that motivate you if you believed. Because when you feel strongly motivated, you can stop smoking.

The format of your beliefs will be negative motivation: "I think if I continue to smoke, something terrible will happen to my most valued criteria."

Make sure you frame your motivations in the positive. In other words, in any case what you want or what will happen. Never say this will not happen. Eliminate the "no" word of the b.
