Want to hang up posters all over my house help me quit smoking? I can not stop smoking. I stopped before, but my vice BIG. My husband smokes and it does not help, the more I have bad anxiety problems. I know that nicotine is bad for anxiety, but when I get angry or worried seems to smoke more. Plus I smoke a lot when I'm on the computer. What can I do to finally stop smoking. My birthday is Friday and do it for me would be my best gift ever. So what do I do and how can I not give in to my stand? Should I smoke a little one day or blow dry it again or ask respectfully. AWWWWWW I am so confused. I thought that maybe the posters around the house reminded me of all the drawbacks of smoking. Hmmmmm .....
Posters are a creative idea.
Another way is: Whenever you want to smoke, chew gum stick.
This way, you can not smoke because you can not chew gum at the same time and smoke.
They say the third time is a charm, and for me it was. The first time I used Cigarrest, arrested more than a year. second time, cold turkey, stopped for six months.
Last time, I decided I wanted to put them down. My doctor gave me a prescription for Wellbutrin. (Generic Zyban). I took it for a week, and kept smoking. At the end of the week, I put them down, and even with a lot of stress in my life, HAV E not reinstated it in 11 years. I took the drug for 30 days.
Talk to your doctor. The most important part is, we should want to put things. Nothing is a panacea to make you stop, it takes you through the cure
Good for you that you want to quit. My husband leaves are about 2 years. It took one day (as you pick up Friday - Happy Birthday!) And stuck to it. I printed pictures from the Internet of the lungs of people who smoked and those who do not smoke. The lungs of smokers were disgusting. I put them all on the spot. Whenever he wanted a cigarette he would call me and I would just keep saying - you do not need, just to get through this desire. Do not succumb to the urge - you say you can do and you can - it is like! Be strong! Have lots of lollipops around. Think about how you'll be healthier, how your clothes will not smell, how you will be able to breathe better, things taste better, how much money you earn.
You Can Do It! Have a big party and be strong!
I heard hypnosis works.
I left some time ago, cold turkey. This can help you to print some notes why you quit. As it is better for my health or I'll live longer. Just little things like that. Another thing that I did helped me, whenever I wanted a cigarette, I would go for a nice walk fast or I jumped on my bike and went for a ride. Use the cinnamon too. It takes many forms and you can use them all, hard candy, toothpaste, mouthwash, gum, mints. It helped me to use cinnamon when I wanted a cigarette. I quit 3 1 / 2 months, and because the company my husband worked for decided to start charging smokers $ 100.00 more a month for insurance. So I just left. It was not as hard as I thought it would be, but still, I'll think about it and want one. So I say "it will never be as easy to adopt again" and I do not.
Good luck and my thoughts and prayers are with you.
You already know what the negatives are, do you really need to be recalled?
You quit when your mind is ready.
Here is my 2 cents. Try chewing gum or the patch (I know they are expensive, my husband is about to quit and we are looking at financial issues that entails), but a patch box (at least where I am ) the amount of costs of a Cartin, and lasts two weeks. Gum .... Some people are addicted. My husband did when he f.
