Smoking Loon Chardonnay

Posted on April 29, 2010.
Smoking Loon ChardonnayCan anyone recommend a good wine drinker's New? (This will give very broad responses, I know.)?

Recently tried to Santa Margerita Pinot Grigio 2006. It is now my favorite wine. I like that it is dry but tasty, and lingers well. I like the way it is not very good.
I bought a white couple since, and I would like some recommendations before proceeding further. Francis Coppola Sauvignon Blanc has been satisfactory, but not as much as the above (although I liked the approach). This Chardonnay Gallo is much better than I thought it would be $ 8, but is still not cut it.
I tried some red pinot (MacMurray, Rodney Strong Smoking Loon) and have been disappointed.
America's first small Shirah was not crispy enough. Far too complex. Or maybe it was just bad, and I'm not good to say these things.
I would like recommendations based on my favorite, which is Pinot Grigio.
I know it's a huge issue, but have noticed there are many wine lovers here who seem happy to share suggestions. Any color, any reasonable price. Thank you.

starting price should be between $ 12 and 15, somewhere in there.

I like King Estate Pinot Gris. It is really good. For I LaCremma Chardonnay.

If as you say you are new to wine, try Chenin Blanc or Riesling, Gewurstraminers, try a little white Zins, Roses, then go to red ... Your taste buds will sprout with your pleasure ... Health

I am a girl blush wine myself. I really like Crane Lake. They are very affordable, but have a great fragrance and flavor. In addition, my husband really likes barefoot. It is good, but not my favorite.
We do not have much to spend on wine ... They are therefore both very reasonable.

Personally I always stick with the small wineries. You will find better deals there over all. You will end up with some shit this way. If you happen to be in the southwestern United States it is a good resource to find: http://www.southwestwinetrails.com

My bet is that you are near certain. If you visit and taste (some have a small charge, but many are free), you get to try a few more things.

Drinking wine different is really the key to determine what you like.

And if you like Pinot Gris ... I'll try a Merlot white or pink.

Silver Palm Cabernet

Red - Red Oak Coast Great Bruhlois

vino verde one of Portugal - Casal Garcia

Champagne English - Nyetimber

Santa Margerita and I in my office in China waiting for me .... hehehe. My favorites:
- Rodney Fort (charlotte) - Sauvignon Blanc
- Pine Ridge - Chenin Blanc
- Francis Coppola - Cabernet
Cabernet - Clos du Val - 2002 / 2003
- Tiziano - Chianti (even more in the tasting of Chianti)
Blanc - Kim Crawford - Pinot Gris or is saivignon

Ca 'Montini Pinot Grigio is an excellent choice of wines taste very crispy, his favorite of my wife

It's something you can not pretend, so ask a friend who really knows

I'll try to do better than the final answers!
-2005 Woodbridge Pinot Gris
Smoking Loon Merlot -2005 (I agree their Pinot N sucks, but it is God)
-2005 Merlot Fetzer
Covey Run Riesling, (one year)
-2006 Kendall Jackson Sauvignon Blanc

All these elements can be found in your local grocery store and are good values. Let me know if you need other suggestions. I learn the world of wine myself. Later.
